Hi Pamela15s! Nice review, but to give clarity and fairness on both parts, I’d like to share some points here (some already mentioned above, I just would like to put emphasis).

Turbo-props have lower cruising altitude compared to Airbuses. In the case of PAL (and even CebuPac), that’s Bombardier to A320. A320-types take around 15-25 mins. to reach its cruising altitude. Obviously, turbo-props have lower levels. Di naman nila to pwede baguhin or lampasan kasi regulated yan ng CAAP.

As for the vibrating and shaking, well, kahit Bombardier planes abroad ganun din yan.

Sa mga delays, again, may mga sinusunod yan na patakaran. And we should all bear in mind na kapag na-cancel man ang mga flights natin, nakakainis or inconvenient, but it’s for everyone’s welfare.

Yung sa turbulence, as much as possible planes should turn-around or umiwas sa mga ganitong disturbances. Pero kung lumusot pa rin, trust the Pilot na lang. Yung sa pagbaba ng altitude abruptly then climb again (air pockets) – trust me kapag biglang bumaba yan, aangat sa aangat din yan. Kahit sa ayaw o gusto ng piloto. That’s air pressure, nature’s call.

As for the snacks, oh yeah, that’s really terrible! =)

Anyway, let’s just all be supportive of our domestic air transport operators.
