I’m back to photographing mode again! Once again, I’ve forgotten how photography excites me. Much more now that my husband and I always wanted a place just for the 2 of us. So that’s double the excitement!

Panning is a technique usually used in sports photography. A photo has a well-focused subject while the background shows an impression of motion. It’s interesting to see photos like this but can be very tricky to capture especially for a newbie like me. Here is one of my better shots where panning is involved:

The July 22, 2009 total solar eclipse will be the longest in history — about 6 minutes (as viewed from China). In Zamboanga City, Philippines however, has only 27% visibility.
