When will I truly become a photographer?

It’s obvious that  it’s been quite a while since I last posted. And of the recent(if you must call it that) felt like something I just had to do for the sake of updating. This blog was exciting especially around the time I got into photography. That was the most memorable, probably, because I met a lot of bloggers, who some of them turned out to by my friends, at least online.

But a lot has been going on in my life, and those friends had some changes in their lives too, one I think gave up blogging probably because of the busy life. Mine was not easy either. We had to move in search of a new life, better life. Then along the way, we had to make painful choices, leave the conveniences we were used to.

My photos were an inspiration to me. An inspiration for a new and meaningful dream. With all life’s chaos, I somehow sacrificed it too, in some way. I haven’t practiced since we moved. I rarely shot. I rarely read my resources. Now I miss it.

To me, I’m not getting better. Here are some shots, so you be the judge:

Shot at 12 midnight. This is when I realized that even in less than 30 seconds, the stars move from their positions in the sky.

Taken at 5.30 in the morning. I missed the sunrise at 4 a.m.

Worm’s eye view of the slipper game.

At least I know I’m getting better at panning. This one I’m proud of especially with a broken AF.

For comparisons, you may refer to my other posts on photography. Either click on the photography tag, or try reading my Photography Experiments on the right sidebar.

Now I wonder, will I ever become the photographer I imagine myself to become?
